JCM Environmental Services Ltd can provide a complete service, assisting companies with compliance to the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006.

Having a comprehensive management plan in place is key to managing asbestos and can often times take away the stress of knowing what do and when.

Companies that have multiple buildings or large facilities can find the task of asbestos management daunting therefore JCMES have developed methods for helping duty holder’s fulfil their requirements.

Method

As a follow up to a survey where asbestos containing materials have been found to be present, JCMES can provide a range of management services.

Once Asbestos has been identified the person responsible for the building has a duty to manage that asbestos. We can provide a 6 to 12 monthly programme of re-visits to monitor, maintain and record the condition of the asbestos.

When our survey recommends removal as opposed to management of asbestos, JCMES can provide a complete project management service to include the following:

•Site meetings to outline the recommended course of action
•Selection of a suitable, independent, HSE Licensed removal contractor
•Provision of plans for the scope of works
•Onsite inspections throughout the contract
•A final report including Notification to the HSE, Air test results, Clearance certificates.
•Hazardous waste transfer and consignment notes
